What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on the user's device when visiting a website. They allow remembering preferences and improving the browsing experience.

Cookies we use

The cookies on this site fall into three categories. Only the first is used without asking you:

  • Necessary: a single one, NEXT_LOCALE, storing the language you chose so you do not have to select it again. It expires after one year. It is exempt from consent because it serves a preference you asked for yourself.
  • Analytics (only with your permission): Google Analytics 4, which tells us which pages are visited and how people reach them. It uses Google cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id>, lasting up to two years. The data is also processed in the United States.
  • Marketing (only with your permission): the Meta Pixel, to measure how our ads perform. It uses cookies such as _fbp, lasting three months. The data is also processed in the United States.

Your choice, and how to change it

The first time you visit we ask you, and until you answer nothing from analytics or marketing is loaded: the Google and Meta scripts are not even on the page. Rejecting takes exactly as much effort as accepting, in the same notice. You can change your mind whenever you like from “Cookie preferences” in the footer of any page; if you withdraw permission, the page reloads so that measurement actually stops.

Storage used by the conversational assistant

If you start a conversation with the assistant on the contact page, your browser stores locally that you accepted its terms, so it does not ask you again. It is not a cookie and it is not sent to any server: it stays on your device and disappears when you clear the site data.

Cookie management

Besides our preferences panel, you can set your browser to accept, reject or delete cookies. If you delete the language cookie, the site will again show the language it detects from your browser.
